The Aberdeen driver’s license office has announced new hours of operation in an effort to better accommodate the needs of its customers. Starting next week, the office will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and will also be open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The decision to extend the hours of operation comes after receiving feedback from the community about the inconvenience of the previous schedule. Many residents expressed frustration at having to take time off work or rearrange their schedules to visit the office during its limited hours.
“We listened to our customers and realized that we needed to make some changes to better serve the community,” said Sarah Johnson, the manager of the Aberdeen driver’s license office. “We understand that getting a driver’s license or renewing one can be a time-consuming process, and we want to make it as easy as possible for our customers.”
The new hours of operation will give residents more flexibility in when they can visit the office. Whether they need to apply for a new license, renew an existing one, or take a driving test, they can now do so at their convenience without having to worry about fitting it into their busy schedules.
In addition to the extended hours, the office has also implemented a new appointment system to reduce wait times and ensure that customers are seen in a timely manner. By scheduling an appointment online or over the phone, residents can avoid long lines and get in and out of the office quickly.
“We want to make the experience of visiting our office as smooth and efficient as possible,” said Johnson. “By offering extended hours and an appointment system, we hope to make the process of getting a driver’s license a more pleasant one for our customers.”
The Aberdeen driver’s license office is also taking steps to ensure the safety of its customers and staff during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Masks are required for entry into the office, and social distancing measures are in place to reduce the risk of transmission.
“We are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone who comes through our doors,” said Johnson. “We are following all guidelines set forth by the CDC and the state government to protect the health and well-being of our customers and staff.”
Overall, the changes to the hours of operation and the implementation of the appointment system are being met with positive feedback from the community. Residents are grateful for the increased flexibility and convenience that these changes offer.
“I am so relieved that the office is now open on Saturdays,” said Amanda Reynolds, a resident of Aberdeen. “I work during the week and it’s always been difficult for me to find time to get to the office. This new schedule will make things so much easier for me.”
The Aberdeen driver’s license office is excited to see how these changes will benefit the community and is committed to providing excellent service to all of its customers. With the extended hours and appointment system in place, residents can now get their driver’s licenses quickly and efficiently, without any hassle.
